Buffalo Trails Multisport Races
Each Memorial Day weekend, includes Duathlon -- a 2.45 mile run, 22 mile bike, 3.05 mile run; the Triathlon a 0.5 mile swim, 22 mile bike, 3.05 mile run; and the LastingMotion 5K is 3.05 miles.
The course winds it way through downtown Maysville as well as western Mason County producing not only a challenging, but a scenic, course.

Maysville Uncorked! Wine and Art Festival
Middle Market Street downtown Maysville, the second Saturday of June. Wine tasting showcases Kentucky’s vineyards, art, food, and music. Free street party 7 p.m. featuring live music, sponsored by The Maysville Players. Contact 606-759-9419 or www.maysvilleplayers.com.
Buffalo Trace Balloon Race
The two-day event in mid-August takes place on the grounds of Maysville Community and Technical College, located on US Hwy 68. Includes: Balloon Race for cash and prizes in two races; Balloon Glow - illumination of balloons after sun set; Skydivers, Fireworks Show, Live Entertainment Friday and Saturday, Arts & Crafts, Food, & other entertainment.

Simon Kenton Harvest Festival

Rosemary Clooney Concert
Last weekend of September. Free Street Party in downtown Maysville on Friday. Dine under the stars Saturday night in Maysville’s historic district and enjoy a live concert by nationally-known acts, gates open at 6:30 p.m., entertainment begins at 8 p.m.. Twilight Christmas Parade
First Friday in December in downtown Maysville. Spectacular floats, marching bands and Santa make this event a family favorite. Parade begins at 6 p.m. on East Second Street at Bridge Street. It proceeds west on Second Street, to Wall Street, north to Third Street, and back east to Bridge Street.
Parade Line-up at 5:30 p.m. on East Second street east of the CSX viaduct. No permit required. Contact 606-564-9419.
Washington Opera Theatre Christmas Play in downtown Maysville. Children can meet Santa Claus, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, and be entertained by a fun performance.
Kentucky Gateway Museum Center Open House, downtown Maysville. Begins after the parade; refreshments, each child receives a gift. Contact 606-564-5865.
Frontier Christmas Festival
In Old Washington on first weekend of December. Scenic 1780s pioneer village with seven museums, strolling costumed carolers, dulcimer, banjo and fiddle playing; learn the art of candle making, period craft demonstrations. Contact 606-759-7411.
