National Underground Railroad Museum

The National Underground Railroad Muesum is located in the Bierbower House, a documented safe house in Maysville. Visitors may view original kitchen and slave quarters where fugitive slaves were hidden under false floors while instructed by knowledgeable guides.
Located at 38 West Fourth Street, Maysville, KY.

Harriet Beecher Stowe Slavery to Freedom Museum

Is located in the Washington Historic District at 2124 Old Main Street, Maysville offers slavery artifacts, Civil War memoribillia, period furnishings and chronicles the life of Ms. Stowe, including her visit to Washington, Kentucky in 1833.
Musuem hours Saturday 12 noon to 4 pm. All other days guided tours offered at the Washington Visitors Center; Monday - Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday 12 Noon to 4 pm.

Kentucky Gateway Museum Center
Is located at 215 Sutton Street, will transport the visitor through time as it tells the story of the region through dioramas and exhibits. Original art work by acclaimed artists is on display and the research library is renowned for their superb collection of original documents, photos and books. Visit the Kathleen Savage Browning Miniatures Gallery -- a world class collection of 1/12 scale miniatures.
Museum Hours: April - December, 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday - Friday, 10 am to 4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.
